Solutions Architect

JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting to the CEO, the Solutions Architect Manager (SAM) Is responsible for providing an advanced level of skill set for Infrastructure (Server, Network, Virtualization) and Cloud Solutions (Private, Hybrid & Backup). The SAM will also be the trusted advisor which will provide guidance to the team (Sales and Data Center Operations Group). The role will have oversight or consultant in IT Operations including; Architectural design/presentation, service delivery resource, project delivery, new infrastructure buildout, cloud and network infrastructure, together with vision to improve DataOne cloud management, operation and support. This will consume about 35% overall of his time thus will have direct interaction with the Head of the mentioned department guided by his immediate superior.

JOB QUALIFICATION:
-Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related course.
-At least eight (8 years of experience in IT Solution selling, and/or managed services, Network, Systems Engineer, performing design and configuration using various brands of networking devices, virtualization platform and software-defined networking.
-Result-driven Technical Consultant and Network Team Lead with extensive experience in engineering, administration and support of IT Infrastructure. Can build and design end-to-end IT Infrastructure covering VMware Virtualization, VOIP Telephony, networking, servers’ backup, firewall, storage, security solutions and software-defined networking and cyber security solutions.
-Advanced knowledge and experience in pre-sales for VMware, servers, storage, network, firewall, backup, and cyber security solutions.
-Experienced Technical Consultant with extensive knowledge in network and datacenter virtualization including traditional & hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI) such as VSAN, CISCO Hyperflex, SimpliVity and Nutanix.
-In depth expertise in the implementation, analysis, optimization, troubleshooting and project documentation.
-Ability to discover business challenges and objectives and develop a documented solution to solve those challenges.
-A balanced background in infrastructure, software engineering and general business knowledge.
-Familiar with trends in cloud adoption trends and cloud architecture, both private and public.
-Certifications: Have one or more of VMware VCP/VCAP, CCNA/CCNP Routing and Switching, Fortinet NSE certifications.
-Outstanding interpersonal abilities and persuasion skills.
-Proven technical skills, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
-Attention to detail, analytical, and possesses problem solving capabilities. Highly equipped in doing designs and technical presentation and proposal catering to different levels of the organization. Able to do project management and project documentation.
