Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Database Migration & Conversion: Lead database migrations from Oracle, MySQL, and DB2 to SQL Server using SSMA, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.
Optimization & Performance Tuning: Improve query performance, indexing, and database efficiency post-migration.
Testing & Validation: Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and troubleshoot migration issues.
Client Support: Provide technical guidance, post-migration troubleshooting, and training.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain migration records, progress updates, and best practices.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on SQL Server advancements and enhance migration processes.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
3+ years of experience in database migration, SQL Server, and SSMA.
Strong expertise in SQL Server design, optimization, and troubleshooting.
Experience with Oracle, MySQL, DB2, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS preferred).
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
