Job Description

MAIN ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for: The Senior Developer will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, designing, developing and maintaining in-house custom-built ERP and having it integrated with selected applications such as FreshService and HubSpot.

This includes developing, optimizing, and upgrading data processing and database solutions to ensure the integrity, performance, and scalability of data-driven systems.

Management and support of other products and technologies:

Maintain a thorough understanding of all database systems and technologies supported to optimize business outcomes.
Analyze, design, and implement database solutions to improve system performance, scalability, and reliability.
Oversee database maintenance activities, including backups, restoration, performance tuning, and archiving.
Provide 3rd level escalation for production support issues and customer concerns.

Process automation design and application builds:

Design and implement database architectures to support business applications and automation requirements, including upgrades and integrations with tools.
Develop, manage, and enhance ETL pipelines and data warehousing solutions.
Perform database design reviews, schema optimization, and post-implementation performance assessments.
Adhere to prescribed SDLC processes and comply with database security best practices and policies.
Analyze database usage and operational results to identify opportunities for improvement and provide recommendations to management.

Technical Skills improvement & Mentorship:

Recommend, design and develop training courses to improve team’s overall technical competency.
Evaluate new technologies and trends.
Provide supervision and mentorship to junior staff.

Other:

Perform miscellaneous duties and projects as may be requested from time to time by the Software Development Lead.

Deep understanding of SDLC

Deep expertise in database systems and technologies:
Relational Databases (PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server).
NoSQL Databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB) - nice to have
Data integration and processing:
Sql Server Integration Services
ETL Tools (AWS Glue or similar).
Data Warehousing and Analytics
Proficiency in database optimization and administration
Query optimization, indexing strategies, and performance tuning.
Database security and backup strategies.
Development and Automation:
Designing database schemas and implementing stored procedures.
Experience with data pipelines, REST APIs, and microservices integration.

QUALIFICATIONS AND TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in Programming, Computer science and other relevant degrees
7+ years experience within similar role
Proven track record of working on large-scale database systems and ETL pipelines.

Subject to business demands, additional hours may be required

May be required to travel and work across various sites
Salary:
₱75,000.00 Monthly
