Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Identity Management & Infrastructure Support:

· Build, deploy, maintain, and document changes in eDirectory environments.

· Provide senior-level operational support for troubleshooting, requests, and incidents.

· Support projects involving migrations of servers and applications, including Novell-related environments.

· Assist in cleaning up and managing accounts, ensuring adherence to identity governance policies.

· Analyze account information and extract data using iGlobalUsers.

Security, Automation, and Optimization:

· Manage and create eDirectory drivers to support user provisioning.

· Deploy logic-based auto-provisioning and synchronization of users across applications and domains.

· Implement automation solutions to optimize identity management workflows.

· Proactively ensure stability, response time, operational consistency, and lifecycle management of the eDirectory.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Compliance:

· Work closely with Azure AD, Active Directory, and IT Operations Teams to maintain a cohesive identity management strategy.

· Ensure compliance with ITIL framework and identity security best practices.

· Provide reporting and communication on identity-related operations and incidents.

Primary Technical and Functional Abilities:

· Expertise in:

o eDirectory, NetIQ Access Manager, and IDM Console.

o Linux OS (RHEL preferred) for directory services administration.

o LDAP, Apache Tomcat, and NDSD service troubleshooting.

o Azure Active Directory and Microsoft Active Directory.

· Working knowledge of:

o Novell services & applications related to identity management.

o Virtualization technologies (VMware 6.x and above).

o SQL Server Management Studio.

o ITIL best practices and identity governance frameworks.

· Experience with automation tools for managing identity workflows in Linux-based and cloud environments.

Behavioral Abilities:

· 7+ years of experience in Novell-based infrastructure and/or Linux OS.

· Proactive problem solver with an eagerness to innovate in IT operations.

· Strong leadership and coordination skills to manage cross-functional teams.

· Ability to influence and communicate effectively across technical and business stakeholders.

· Customer-focused mindset with excellent verbal and written communication skills (English required, Italian reading is a plus).

· Ability to travel occasionally for global IT operations alignment.

· Commitment to best practices, security, and compliance enforcement.

Technical Environment:

· Ticketing System: Helpdesk Advance (or equivalent ITSM tool)
