Expat Licensed Senior Accountant - Mandarin Speaking

Job Summary:
The Senior Accountant will play a key role in managing the company's financial operations, ensuring compliance with Philippine financial regulations. This position involves financial reporting, budget management, cost control, tax compliance, and audit coordination, with a strong focus on cash flow optimization and risk management. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry, and be fluent in both Chinese and English. This role also requires expertise in financial software and data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI) to enhance financial efficiency and support business decision-making.

Job Responsibilities:
• Financial Management & Reporting
oOversee the company's financial accounting, ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Philippine financial regulations.
oPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, providing financial analysis and management recommendations.
oMonitor cash flow, optimize cash management, and enhance financial operations efficiency.

•Budgeting & Cost Control
oParticipate in the development of the annual budget, monitor budget execution, and analyze variances.
oSupervise cost accounting for construction projects to ensure effective cost control.
oAssess financial risks and propose mitigation strategies.

•Taxation & Compliance
oManage tax filing and compliance, ensuring adherence to Philippine and international tax regulations.
oHandle audit processes, liaising with external auditors and government agencies.

•Team Collaboration & System Optimization
oProvide guidance and training to the finance team to improve overall financial management capabilities.
oParticipate in financial system optimization and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications:
•Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related fields; CPA certification is required.
•Nationality: We welcome applicants from any nationality within Asia or China, provided they are proficient in both Mandarin and English.
•Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably in the construction industry or a publicly listed company.
•Language Skills: Fluent in Chinese and English, capable of preparing financial reports and communicating effectively in both languages.
•Relocate: Willing to relocate and work overseas
