Job Description
Are you an experienced Australian Tax Accountant looking for an exciting opportunity in a BPO setting? We’re seeking a highly skilled professional with a strong grasp of Australian tax laws, compliance requirements, and accounting standards to support our expanding operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review individual, corporate, trust, and partnership tax returns in line with Australian tax regulations.
Ensure compliance with ATO and ASIC requirements.
Manage BAS, GST, and FBT returns for clients.
Provide expert tax planning, advisory, and forecasting services.
Conduct tax reconciliations, financial statement analysis, and general ledger reviews.
Stay updated on Australian tax laws to provide accurate and timely advice.
Work closely with Australian clients, addressing tax queries and offering expert guidance.
Utilize Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, and other Australian accounting software for bookkeeping and tax preparation.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional service delivery in a BPO environment.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2-3 years of experience in Australian taxation, ideally in a BPO or outsourcing environment.
Strong knowledge of Australian tax laws, GST, BAS, and ASIC compliance.
Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, and Excel.
Experience handling ATO audits, tax advisory, and compliance reporting.
Excellent communication and client management skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience working with Australian clients is highly desirable.
