Job Description

Duties of IT Help Desk Supervisor:
- Lead and manage the IT Help Desk team to ensure efficient daily operations.
- Oversee the ticketing system, troubleshoot technical issues, and handle escalations.
- Maintain departmental records, enforce guidelines, and ensure compliance.
- Monitor patching processes and ensure proper system maintenance.
- Collaborate with management to improve IT support services and efficiency.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of experience in an IT support-type role with exposure to the various technologies listed above and 1+ years of Management Experience in IT Support.
- Firsthand experience with Help Desk and Remote Control Software.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant field is preferred.
- Certifications such as CompTIA, A+, and Microsoft Certified Professional are preferred.
- Advanced understanding of Windows, Networking, and Cloud-based technologies.
- Advanced understanding of Windows Domain, user security, and group policy objects.
- Critical thinking skills to troubleshoot problems quickly, under time constraints, with interruptions all while resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Must provide an excellent service-oriented attitude and effectively communicate with a diverse user community at all levels of the organization.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The work is of an intellectual nature. While performing the functions of this job, the employee is required to stand and sit for prolonged periods. Specific vision abilities required include close and medium distance vision and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to hear normal sounds, distinguish sound as voice and communicate through human speech. This position requires the ability to operate a computer, keyboard, computer mouse, cell phone, tablet, fax, copier, writing tools, and other standard office equipment. On occasion, an employee will be asked to lift items weighing up to 35 lbs.
