Work location: Pasig
Work Schedule: 8 am-5 pm
Salary range: 30,000-35,000
Project Accounting Role Overview
Responsibilities
Financial Management & Reporting:
● Maintain detailed financial records for multiple construction projects.
● Prepare and review project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports.
● Monitor project expenses, ensuring alignment with budgets and identifying cost variances.
● Track project costs, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor expenses.
● Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) specific to project activities.
● Generate and submit accurate financial reports to stakeholders.
Billing & Invoicing:
● Prepare and submit progress billings and invoices in accordance with contract terms.
● Ensure timely collection of payments and manage cash flow for projects.
● Reconcile project-related accounts and ensure correct allocations.
Compliance & Documentation:
● Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
● Manage project-related documentation, such as variation orders, contracts, and purchase
orders.
● Assist with internal and external audits by providing relevant documentation and explanations.
Collaboration & Support:
● Work closely with business development manager, quantity surveyor, site supervisors, and
procurement teams to align financial objectives with project milestones.
● Provide financial insights and analysis to support decision-making.
● Assist with resolving financial discrepancies or disputes.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
● Proven experience in construction accounting or project accounting roles for at least 5 years.
● Familiarity with construction industry standards, cost control methods, and financial reporting practices.
Skills
● Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks.
● Strong Google Suites skills for data analysis and reporting.
● Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
● Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
● Effective communication skills for collaborating with diverse teams.
● Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
