Job Description

JOB OBJECTIVES
Responsible for applying Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and procedures to analyze financial information, prepare accurate and timely financial reports and other government requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
· Prepares the Financial Statements of the company.
· Compiles and analyzes the financial information in order to generate reports required by the Management.
· Prepares the employee’s withholding taxes, SSS, PHIC, and HDMP Contributions and ensure its compliance.
· Coordinates with external auditors in completing audits, if any.
· Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the company’s management.
· Ensure validity, correctness, and completeness of accounting records (in the accounting system) of the company and its compliance with BIR
· Preparation of weekly/monthly cash flows and semi-annual financial statements for management and audit purposes.
· Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual BIR tax returns, filling and paying thereof.
· Various accounting tasks as needed (e.g. checking petty cash reports, disbursement relief entry, filling documents and contracts, clients meeting).

JOB DESCRIPTION
· Knowledgeable in Finance, Accounting, Budgeting and cost control principles. Strong knowledge in government regulation requirements such as BIR Taxation
· Preparation of different BIR returns such as Income Tax Return (Quarterly and Annual), Value Added Taxes Return (Monthly and Quarterly), 1606 C and E (Monthly and Annual).
· Computation, filing (no payment) and remittance (with payment) of BIR returns to Bureau of internal Revenue and banks.
· Preparation of supplementary documents to BIR such as Certificate of Compensation Payments/Tax Withheld (2316), Certificate of Creditable Tax Withheld at Source (2307), documentary taxes forms (2000), payment forms (0605) and others.
· Preparation of annual unaudited financial statements such as statements of financial position, statement of income, cash flow statement and statement of changes in equity and notes to financial statements including computation of company fixed asset’s depreciation.
· Recording of various expense receipts and recording and sales invoices to cash disbursement journal (excel file) as well as income per official receipts and recording them again to the BIR Software for Quarterly Reporting Online Submission (thru e submission) of BIR reports and attachments for BIR such as Summary list of Sales, Purchases and Importation, list of payees for Monthly Withholding Taxes Expanded, 1604-C, 1604-E and others.
· Annual registration to BIR every January

Qualifications
· A graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy or any related field
· With CPA license is an advantage
· With 5yrs working experience in a related field
· Knowledgeable /experience in handling a Manufacturing business.
· Has good interpersonal & communication skills; knowledgeable in MS Office & Accounting Systems; possesses a solid background in Local/International Taxation & Accounting Standards.
· Ability to work well independently or as part of a team
· Proactive and takes initiative to accomplish tasks.
· Willing to work in Binan, Laguna
