Accounting Officer

Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Operations: Process transactions, reconcile accounts, manage expenses, and handle payroll taxes.
2. Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements, analyze trends, and assist with budgets.
3. Compliance & Taxation: File tax reports, coordinate with consultants, and stay updated on regulations.
4. Process Improvement: Enhance workflows, implement controls, automate tasks, and identify risks.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or related fields.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in finance or accounting, ideally in a supervisory or senior role.
- Experience in a startup environment, with a focus on developing financial systems and processes.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and advanced spreadsheet skills.
- Strong understanding of accounting and tax standards.
- Excellent work ethic, ability to meet deadlines, and minimal supervision required.
- High sense of accountability and responsibility.
Bonus Qualifications:
- CPA qualification is advantageous but not mandatory.
- A mindset geared towards automation and process improvement.
- Preference for candidates with experience in heavy equipment industries, particularly in equipment management and cost control.
