API Management

Summary:
Eteam Corp seeks a skilled API Management Specialist with at least two years of experience to support the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of our APIs. The successful candidate will work closely with development teams, ensuring APIs are secure, scalable, and meet business requirements.

Responsibilities:
API Design and Development:
Collaborate with development teams to design and develop RESTful APIs using appropriate technologies and frameworks (specify technologies used, e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, OpenAPI/Swagger).
Ensure APIs adhere to best practices for security, scalability, and maintainability.
Write clean, well-documented, and testable API code.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality.
API Deployment and Management:
Deploy and manage APIs using API gateways and management platforms (specify platforms used, e.g., Kong, Apigee, AWS API Gateway).
Monitor API performance and identify areas for improvement.
Implement and manage API security measures (e.g., authentication, authorization, rate limiting).
Troubleshoot and resolve API-related issues.
API Documentation:
Create and maintain comprehensive API documentation using tools like Swagger/OpenAPI.
Ensure documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible to developers and consumers.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure APIs meet business requirements.
Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in API design, development, and management.
Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used for API development (specify languages, e.g., Python, Java, Node.js).
Understanding of RESTful API design principles and best practices.
Experience with API gateways and management platforms (mention specific platforms if applicable).
Experience with API security best practices.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Bonus Points:
Experience with specific API technologies or frameworks used by the company (mention specific technologies if known).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines for API deployment.
