Job Description

TASQ is looking for a compliance manager to work on site in Greenhills.

Education/Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource or related field, or 3 to 5 years Human Resource Compliance experience.  

Job Overview

The Human Resource Compliance Manager is responsible for ensuring the organization adheres to all applicable employment laws, regulations, and internal policies by conducting audits, developing and updating policies, training employees, and addressing any compliance issues to mitigate risk and promote a fair and ethical work environment; essentially acting as a guardian of the company's HR practices to maintain legal and ethical integrity within the workplace. This is role is an individual-contributor and will not have any direct reports but will work closely with the HR teams across the organization (Belize, Colombia, Jamaica and Philippines) to ensure compliance.



Responsibilities and Duties

Monitoring Compliance – Regularly reviewing HR practices and procedures to identify potential compliance risks across areas like hiring, employee classification, compensation, benefits, leave management, and terminations.

Policy Development and Implementation – Creating, updating, and disseminating clear HR policies and procedures aligned with current regulations and best practices.

Employee Training – Delivering training sessions to educate employees and managers on company policies, compliance requirements, and their rights and responsibilities. 

Auditing and Investigations – Conducting internal audits to assess compliance with HR policies and laws, investigating Ethics Center complaints related to potential violations, and taking corrective action when necessary.

Employment of Record – Ensuring all legal requirements are met to onboard and offboard employees hired within the Employer of Record (EOR) business unit.

Talent Augmentation – Maintain database of positions eligible for hire and ensure the wages are compliant with the appropriate compensation bands.



Required Knowledge and Skills

Deep understanding of Philippines employment laws; knowledge of Belize, Colombia, and Jamaica are a bonus.

Extensive knowledge of HR practices, policies, and procedures.

Ability to identify compliance issues, develop solutions and implement corrective actions.

Meticulous approach to data analysis and documentation to ensure accuracy in compliance reporting.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to multi-task and work independently to complete tasks in a timely manner. 

Strong follow-up skills with attention to detail. 

The ability to work and collaborate with employees at all levels within different offices. 

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. 

Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality. 

Ability to work flexible hours with the possibility of working outside of contractual hours. 



Evaluation of Performance

The HR Compliance Manager will be evaluated regularly to ensure process and procedures are consistently adhered to. Timely reviews will be conducted to ensure that all employee-related affairs are addressed impartially and confidentially and to foster and maintain a professional, efficient, and positive working environment.
