Job Description
Duties And Responsibilities:
Assists in developing modules for medical coding training (CD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS)
Maintains knowledge on ICD 10 CM, ICD 10 PCS, CPT and HCPCS coding guidelines
Updates existing training modules
Develops and produce materials for inpatient medical coding exercises, assessment, and qualifying examination
Provides training and review for onboarding coders as well as refresher trainings for Tenured coders
Disseminates changes and updates in guidelines and rules
Collaborates with all workgroups to resolve issues that impact internal and external customers
Participates in monthly calibration training
Create assessments to check learnings from calibration training
Consolidates coder scores from calibration assessment and present consolidated data to operations
Job requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or any allied medical course
Must have Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC) license
Minimum 2 years of Medical coding work experience
Amenable to work on Day shift
Fully Remote work set up
