SAP Data Migration Consultant

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide ongoing support for SAP FICO configurations and enhancements.
• Resolve issues and provide technical solutions to user problems in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
• Perform system tests, validation, and documentation for changes in SAP FICO.
• Assist in the preparation and execution of system upgrades, patches, and new releases. • Continuously monitor SAP FICO module for performance and optimization opportunities.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist in the data collection, profiling, cleansing, mapping, conversion, transformation, validation, loading and reconciliation.
• Review and validate the system configuration. Functional consultants ensure that the business requirements are completely and accurately translated into system configuration.
• Build the Roles and Authorization and align them to the organization specific business functions and responsibilities, ensuring users have access only to what they need.
• Utilize RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) principles to assign permissions based on user roles rather than individual users.
• Collaborate closely with technical consultants/ SI to ensure that the system’s technical aspects align with business requirements, facilitating smooth integration and deployment.
• Participate in integration testing, performance testing and regression testing and ensure that different components of the system work together seamlessly.
• Facilitate UAT by preparing test cases and guiding the end users through the testing process.
• Assist in the end users training.
• Provide knowledge transfer to IT. Facilitate transition to Run & Support phase. • Serve as back-up to CITG Solution Delivery Leads.

Job Qualifications*

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience working with SAP FICO (Financial Accounting and Controlling).
• Strong knowledge of SAP FICO functionalities including Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO).
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
• Good understanding of business processes in finance, accounting, and controlling. • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve SAP-related issues efficiently.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Experience with testing, documentation, and change management.
