Job Description

The Meter Shop Operations Head is responsible for developing the business plan and overseeing the daily operations of the meter shop, ensuring that all activities related to testing, calibration, repair, and maintenance of meters are conducted efficiently and in compliance with industry standards and regulations. This role involves managing a team of technicians and support staff, ensuring quality control, maintaining inventory, and optimizing shop performance to meet commercial goals. The Operations Head will also coordinate with other departments to ensure the timely delivery of services and contribute to process improvements and cost management strategies.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement the meter shop business plan to ensure that sales and profitability targets are met.
• Responsible in acquiring training and service clients for meter testing, sealing and QA.
• Oversee and manage all operations within the meter shop, including testing, calibration, repair, and maintenance of meters.
• Lead, train, and supervise a team of technicians and support staff to ensure high-quality work and productivity.
• Develop and implement operational procedures and best practices to ensure the efficient functioning of the shop.
• Responsible in maintaining/trouble shooting all laboratory equipment.
• Monitor inventory levels of materials, parts, and equipment, and ensure timely procurement.
• Ensure all meter services are performed in compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Accept and assist the Delivery and sealing of Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) seals.
• Assist the ERC engineers that conduct inspections and process necessary documentations.
• Maintain and analyze operational performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as Supply Chain, Research & Development and Sales, to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of services.
• Coordinate with the manufacturing team regarding testing and QA concerns.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints related to meter services and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Attend to electrical concerns of the company
• Prepare reports on operational performance, budgets, and inventory management for senior management.
• Implement cost-control measures and optimize resources for effective budget management.
• Attend MANCOM meeting and other required corporate events
• Support other Business ventures of the Company
• Complies with the proper operating procedures of safety and health standards/regulations.
• Support and Implement Environmental Management System with respect to their job.
• Adheres to Policies/Procedures, Employee Code of Ethics and Conduct, and Corporate Governance regulations.
• Protects intellectual property, company proprietary and confidential information.
• Perform other duties & responsibilities related to his/her job as directed by superior

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related fields.
• Licensed Electrical Engineer
• At least five (5) years’ work experience in the same field

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Proven experience in managing operations in a technical or service-oriented environment, with a focus on meter testing, repair, or maintenance.
• In-depth knowledge of meter testing standards, calibration procedures, and safety regulations.
• Knowledgeable in different meter shop operation permits process & procedures.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with business development skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and projects.
• Familiarity with inventory management and procurement processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Resourceful and dependable.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office operations (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• With basic knowledge in AutoCAD.
• This role plays a critical part in ensuring the efficient and reliable performance of the meter shop, contributing to the organization's overall success.

Monthly Salary:
• 45000 - 55000
• Negotiable based on the applicant's skill set.

Work Location:
• 16 Evangelista Street, WH 28-29, Santolan, Pasig City ,Metro Manila (Preferred candidates should live near the working location)

Work Schedule:
• Full-time
• Monday to Saturday, from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Location Type:
• On-site
• We don't usually work on Saturday, unless we have HR activities and other meetings scheduled on weekend.
