Web Developer/Designer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Web Developer to join our dynamic IT team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the development and maintenance of our E-Commerce platform, ensuring optimal functionality and a seamless user experience. As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for leveraging your expertise in AWS Lambda, NodeJS, React, MongoDB, API integration, and Git for efficient code base management to enhance our web applications.

Required Skills:

1. AWS Lambda: Proficiency in setting up and managing AWS Lambda functions to ensure optimal performance and scalability.

2. NodeJS: Strong background in server-side development using NodeJS, including building robust and scalable backend systems.

3. React: Extensive experience in developing responsive and interactive user interfaces using React.

4. MongoDB: In-depth knowledge of MongoDB, including database design, optimization, and management.

5. API Integration: Proven ability to integrate with third-party APIs seamlessly, ensuring smooth data flow between systems.

6. Git: Proficient in using Git for version control, branching, merging, and maintaining a clean and organized codebase.

7. Shopify Development: Experience in integrating and configuring Shopify apps to extend store functionality and ability to work with Shopify's APIs for custom feature development and system integrations.

Optional Skills:

1. UI / UX: Familiarity with UI/UX principles to contribute to the development of visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.

2. Web Design: Basic understanding of web design principles, with the ability to collaborate effectively with design teams.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and maintain AWS Instance of E-Commerce website: Oversee the day-to-day operations of our E-Commerce platform hosted on AWS, ensuring high availability, security, and optimal performance.

2. Troubleshoot and fix bugs of existing e-commerce platform: Quickly identify and resolve any issues or bugs in the system to maintain a seamless user experience.

3. Develop additional features as required by the business: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and implement new features to enhance the functionality of the E-Commerce platform.

4. Must be able to integrate with 3rd party APIs: Work closely with external partners and vendors, integrating their APIs into our system to enhance overall functionality and provide a comprehensive solution.
