Job Description

The IT Support Staff provides installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, administrative support, and network user management and integrates technical expertise with problem-solving expertise. He/ She monitor and maintain the company computer systems, installs and configures hardware and software, and solves technical problems.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
• Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks.
• Responding in a timely manner to incidents relating employee’s computer usage including but not limited to operating system and office application, designer’s applications browser and email.
• Setting up accounts for new users.
• Repair or replace damaged hardware.
• Upgrade systems to enable compatible software.
• Install and upgrade antivirus software.
• Evaluate and perform tests on new hardware and software.
• Define software, hardware and network requirements.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Manage website email domain including email account setup email forwarder.
• Automate file back up to server.
• Provide support in company’s telephone system.
• Maintain and monitor other technology such as CCTV units, biometric units.
• Performs regular computer cleaning / dusting.
• Attends to other related concerns and performs other duties as may be assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Engineering or related field
• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role
• Experience troubleshooting systems
• Skilled in database programming and software installation
• Good in written and oral communication skills
• Familiar with a range of software and hardware
• Excellent analytical skills to find solutions to problems almost every day, whether it’s figuring out why a server is down or determining a specific line of code that isn’t working.
• Ability to exhibit composure, patience, and confidence when facing difficult situations.
• Self-starter with a proven track record of multi-tasking abilities.
