Technical Trainer (Electrical and Instrument)

As a Technical Trainer - Instrument/Electrical, working with other members of the team, you’ll be responsible to deliver high-quality technical training programs and solutions that will ensure the competency of MSTC internal and external learners. Based at our Training Centre in (Lipa City) this role will be strongly focused on leading our learners in the development of knowledge, skills, and experience for industrial facilities, power plants, petrochemicals, refineries, and oil and gas business.

Key Responsibilities of the position

*Facilitates and delivers competency-based training in ICS NC II or EIM NC II;
*Devise robust technical training solutions to meet learners’ needs and MSTC’s operational requirements.
*Create clear learning objectives, generate appropriate course content and produce course agendas & training schedules
*Prepare high-quality training & development material (presentations, assessments, group activities, etc.).
*Organize and conduct on-site training where necessary.
*Maintain and report on course attendance, completion, pass rates, learner feedback, etc.
*Observe and evaluate the results of training & development programs to determine the overall effectiveness of training & development programs and facilitate improvements.
*Support the Head of Technical Training in the development of annual plans for marketing and delivery of MSTC’s internal and external courses including NVQs, etc.
*Assist the Training Coordinator in ensuring the currency and robustness of MSTC’s Training Matrix, Training Database, employees/Competency CVs and Training Files.
*Monitors the trainees’ knowledge, skills, and attitude performance during the in-center training.
*Conducts competency–based assessment of trainees at the end of each module.
*Enhances the competency-based curriculum, session plans, and training modules /instructional materials.
*Maintains training tools and equipment, and facilities.
*Submits Trainees’ Performance Reports, Training Reports, Inventory Reports, and other training-related reports to MSTC; and
*Perform other functions assigned by the immediate supervisor
