Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS:
-Preferably a graduate of Engineering, or with background on working for an engineering company
-With extensive experience on B2B technical sales.
-Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies, customer relationship management, and managing and directing a sales team.
-Must have dedication in providing great customer service.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
-Establish new & maintain existing relationships with customers by doing client calls, technical presentations, organizing webinars and participating in company-sanctioned activities in tradeshows & exhibits.
-Manage and interpret customer requirements.
-Coming out with new strategies with approval of the top management, must always being step ahead of competitors.
-Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
-Preparing reports and other clerical tasks in relation to clients’ records and files.
-Handle bids, inquiries, retail and specification matching.
-Perform market studies on the competition and industry.
-Ensure that design consultants, project managers and project owners are aware of and interested in implementing the use of the company's products in current and upcoming projects by constantly communicating with them and providing information.
-Endeavour to have the company's products and systems specified in projects as early as possible.
-Attend meetings for marketing to build rapport for clients.
-Supervise, mentor and train Junior Sales/Business development personnel
-Monitor success rate of sales.
-Perform regular follow ups with clients on upcoming projects and tendered bids.
-Supervise and direct the activities of junior marketing’/sales team members.
-Assist in selection and distribution of promo materials, gifts and corporate giveaways.
-Perform research on potential and upcoming government and private projects.
-Monitor progress of upcoming projects by communicating with stakeholders.
-Assist in social media and online marketing endeavors.
