Payable Account Assistant - Onsite Cebu

Job Purpose:

- The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for processing and managing all invoices received for payment in a timely and accurate manner. This role ensures that all payments are processed according to company policy and generally accepted accounting principles. This position plays a critical role in maintaining positive vendor relationships and contributing to the overall financial health of Caron Scientific.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review and verify invoices for accuracy, proper authorization, and coding.
- Process invoices for payment, including data entry into the accounting system.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of all invoices and payments.
- Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status.
- Prepare and process manual checks as needed.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures related to accounts payable.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures related to accounts payable.
- Stay current on relevant accounting regulations and best practices.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Education:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

Required Experience:
- At least two years of related accounting experience

Required Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of accounts payable principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Strong data entry and reconciliation skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
