Site Controller - Onsite Cebu

This position is responsible for providing financial control, analysis, and support to our Corporate Controller. Responsible for the preparation and oversight of all Statutory reporting.

- Assist with month-end close & year-end close processes
- Oversee the purchase ledger and sales ledger function
- Prepare monthly account reconciliations for assigned Balance Sheet Accounts
- Prepare monthly financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP
- Prepare Plans and Forecasts on assigned Balance Sheet Accounts
- Variance analysis between actual and plan
- Work with management team on process improvements and efficiencies
- Responsible for leading & controlling all aspects of the internal and external audits
- Strong cashflow management and robust strategic planning
- Responsible for overseeing the completion of:
- the annual Statutory Accounts
- the annual Corporation Tax returns
- the monthly VAT & Intrastat returns
- Vocational/ Bachelor degree in the area of Finance/Accountancy
- Knowledge and experience of accounting ERP systems and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Experience

- Minimum 5 years in Finance & Accounting
- Experienced and competent in the preparation of monthly accounting reporting.
- Ability to accurately follow departmental procedures and timelines relating to accounting procedures.
- Able to work as both part of a team, across functions and on their own initiative, be flexible, and review current practices with the target of improving the department to achieve modern best practices.
- Maintain effective communication both internally and externally with Auditors, Tax authorities & Government bodies.
