Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
The Software Development Specialist will be responsible in developing and maintaining software programs and applications. The role should possess advanced skills, knowledge, and expertise in various programming languages, frameworks, and software development methodologies. This includes data gathering, building, testing and implementing functional codes according to business requirements. The Software Development Specialist will also be responsible in analyzing and amending program errors in a timely and accurate manner and provides status reports and program/application documentation.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-The Software Development Specialist performs systems analysis and design, programming, documentation, task implementation, and program maintenance of considerable difficulty in a large and diverse user environment within a broad framework of standards, policies, and procedures, utilizing current techniques and methodologies.
-Develops system programs as prescribed in specifications coordinated with the Software and API Development Officer, Software and Systems Manager and the ICT Head.
-In charge of Microsoft GP Dynamics support includes User Maintenance, IAXL Integration, Dictionary Error, Crystal Report setup, undefined error encountered by user, mass upload of data through integration manager tool and Integration of new departmental projects.
-In-house GP-Support (IAXL Integration, Financial Set-up, Report Writer, Data Integration, System Error, undefined errors, New Company Set-up), Customization support as required. (e.g. (GTAX, SSRS Set-up)
-Ensures that applications are developed within development methods and standards, codes and debugs program, coordinates testing and data conversion while balancing the time of the development, service level standards and the needs of the users.
-Designs systems, detailing procedures to be followed by users, prepares system and data flow diagrams, and translates problem statements into programming definitions.
-Assists in designing input source documents, output reports, online screen layouts, and preparation and review of system test and parallel run.
-Implements new and revised systems by providing training to end-users and technical staff, creating and transitioning efficient operational procedures, including effective hardware utilization and adequate back-up processes, and makes recommendations on technical modifications to the end-use hardware and software work environment.
-Prepares, maintains, and updates archival documentation on developed tools including documentation on programming phases
-Revises programs as prescribed in the specifications for system enhancements or program correction.
-Conducts regular audits, enforce and adhere to short and long-term departmental policies, and goals.
-Accomplishes programming project requirements by coaching preparing software developers by providing educational opportunities
-Maintain strong communication channels with the ICT Team to ensure availability and integrity of required systems and programming support and data
-Should be a full-stack developer. The role is proficient in both front-end and back-end development and has the skills to work on both the client-side and server-side of the system, module or application.
-Capable of handling the entire development process, from designing the user interface to managing the database and implementing server logic.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
-Experienced and knowledgeable in the following: Software Design, Software Debugging, Software Development Fundamentals, C++, Software Documentation, Software Testing, Software Maintenance, Software Algorithm Design, Software Performance Tuning, Software Architecture, Coaching
-Demonstrates experience in application analysis, design, development and deployment using the following languages:
-Programming Language: .NET (VB6 or C++), Framework (3.5 or 4.0), Java, PHP,CS5,HTML5,JavaScript,Ajax,XML,VB.net, Oracle, C#
-Database: MS SQL (2005 or higher), MySQL, DBA experience
-Development IDE: MS Visual Studio and Adobe Dreamweaver (any CS version), Sublime and VS Code (any version)
-Familiar with web/mobile design tools such as adobe photoshop, illustrator, other web designing software.
-Knowledgeable in SEO Management, Google API and other 3rd party web/application-based integration.
-Has experience in handling: Microsoft GP Dynamics \ GP Active directory, MS SQL Server, Microsoft Visual Studio, GitLab/GitHub.

Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php30,000.00 per month
