Assistant Quality Assurance Inspector

Job Purpose

1. Responsible for encoding data from in-line monitoring, ARR, blast freezing, and other related quality assurance documentation.
2. Responsible for routing Product Disposition Instructions and other related Quality Assurance Documentation to the appropriate departments.
3. Assisting the Quality Assurance Inspector in checking and verifying raw materials used in production, product weight, area temperature, chemical concentration (tool dip, hand dip, and foot bath), blast freezing monitoring, boxing, and other related tasks for quality assurance inspection.
4. Assisting the Quality Assurance Analyst in the laboratory and helping with preparation for physicochemical analysis.
5. Collecting product samples at the production/packaging area that are subject to testing at the QA laboratory.
6. Assist in the physical inspection of raw materials like MDM that are subject to Bonesaw before issuance of Product Disposition.
7. Boxing of retention sample from QA freezer to inbound at RCSNI for proper storage.
8. Monitor and check retention samples stored at RCSNI that are subject to de-branding based on the given Product Disposition Instruction by the immediate superior.
9. Responsible for the monitoring, and requisition of the consumables that we are using in the office and an in-line inspection.
10. Organizing and filing of Monitoring and other documentation related to the Quality Assurance Department.
11. Housekeeping in the office and laboratory.

Qualifications:
• Preferably seeking candidates with vocational or undergraduate degrees in food-related fields, such as Food Technology, Food and Nutrition, or HRM.
• Knowledgeable in MS Word and MS Excel.
• Experienced as a Quality Assurance Inspector or Quality Control Inspector.
• Experienced in the filing, and encoding of data.
• Expertise in Housekeeping or 5’s.
• Knowledgeable on Food Safety, GMP, and HACCP is a plus.
• Have a good attitude towards work or with work ethics.
• A Team Player.
