Ultrasound Application Specialist

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for providing technical and clinical expertise (Ultrasound) in support to the Sales Functions.
Demonstrates the procedures on various Canon Ultrasound machines during product demonstrations.
Trains and educates the Ultrasound Technicians on how to use the Canon Ultrasound clearly and efficiently.
Provides technical guidance and operational procedures relevant to Ultrasound machines.
Provides assistance or augmentation on the sales product presentation relevant to Ultrasound machines.
Responsible in ensuring that good resolution features and software of machine needed is being provided to the end user.
Visits various customers and their installed Canon Ultrasound machine base and performs checking of correct protocols to ensure efficiency of the machine to its full extent. Answers any application question that may arise.
Prepares the machines and devices needed for the product demonstration as well as the required documentations.
Assists in the delivery of the equipment and in getting customer's acceptance of the equipment installation as well as customer's payment as required.
Seeks out and obtains sales opportunities and communicates these to the Management.

KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Candidate must possess at least a BS in Radiologic Technology or BS Nursing with valid license;
With at least one (1) year work related experience gained in a medical environment.
Must have a hands-on experience in operating/handling the Ultrasound machine.
Must be willing to work off shift hours.
Must be willing to travel and do field work as required.
Computer literate
