Job Description
Work Setup: Mondays to Thursdays – Onsite and Fridays – WFH
Office location: Quezon Avenue, Diliman, Quezon City
Qualifications
3-4 years of relevant experience.
· Snowflakes experience is required.
· Strong understanding of SQL syntax, query optimization techniques, and data manipulation.
· Expertise in data warehousing principles, including dimensional modeling, star schemas, and data partitioning.
· Deep understanding of Snowflake features like virtual warehouses, data sharing, Snowpipe, and security capabilities.
· Ability to design robust data models to support business requirements and data analysis.
· Experience with ETL tools and techniques to integrate data from multiple sources.
· Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and preferably experience with other cloud platforms.
Job Description
Create data models and schemas within Snowflake to effectively store and access data, ensuring data integrity and optimal query performance.
Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data manipulation logic to extract, transform, and load data within Snowflake.
Manage data migration strategies from existing systems to Snowflake, ensuring data consistency and quality throughout the process.
Design and implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines to efficiently move and process data from various sources into Snowflake.
Monitor and optimize query performance by tuning SQL queries, utilizing Snowflake features like clustering and materialized views.
Implement data security measures like role-based access control, data masking, and encryption to protect sensitive information within Snowflake.
Work closely with data analysts, business stakeholders, and other teams to understand data requirements and translate them into effective Snowflake solutions.
Monitor Snowflake environments, identify performance issues, and troubleshoot data quality problems.
