Job Description
We are looking for an Internal Audit Associate to support the execution of audits within the organization. This role involves assessing financial, operational, and compliance processes to ensure internal controls are effective, identifying risks, and providing improvement recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in audit planning and preparation by gathering background information and reviewing relevant documentation.
- Execute audit procedures based on the audit plan, ensuring timely completion.
- Prepare working papers documenting audit procedures, results, and conclusions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies, regulations, and company standards.
- Help draft audit reports summarizing findings and recommending improvements.
- Communicate audit findings and discuss observations with management.
- Monitor the implementation of corrective actions following audit recommendations.
- Suggest ways to improve audit procedures for greater efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members and interact with department heads to understand business processes.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of audit experience (external or internal). Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Accountancy graduate.
- AMLA exposure or experience is a plus.
- Strong social and communication skills.
