As we expand, we are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Sales Manager to join our team and support our leadership.

Job Summary:

A Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing a company's sales operations, developing sales strategies, leading and motivating the sales team, and ensuring that sales targets and goals are met. This role combines leadership, strategic thinking, and deep knowledge of the market to drive business growth and revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Planning:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company revenue and growth objectives.
Analyze market trends, competition, and customer needs to adjust strategies and seize opportunities.
Set sales targets and goals for the sales team based on business objectives.
Work closely with marketing to align sales and promotional activities.
Team Leadership and Development:
Recruit, train, and onboard new sales team members.
Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and performance evaluations to the sales team.
Foster a positive team environment, ensuring the team is motivated, engaged, and equipped to succeed.
Conduct regular sales meetings and one-on-one check-ins with team members to discuss goals, challenges, and performance.
Sales Performance and Reporting:
Monitor the sales team’s progress toward meeting sales targets and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
Analyze sales data to identify trends, successes, and areas for improvement.
Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance to senior management.
Track key metrics, such as conversion rates, customer acquisition cost, and revenue generation.
Customer Relationship Management:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners.
Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products and services to existing customers.
Address customer inquiries or concerns and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Assist in the negotiation and closing of significant sales deals.
Sales Operations Management:
Oversee the day-to-day sales activities to ensure the sales process is being followed and executed efficiently.
Manage sales forecasts, territories, and lead distribution within the team.
Ensure the sales team is using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tools effectively to track leads, contacts, and sales activities.
Market Research and Competitor Analysis:
Stay informed about market trends, competitor products, and customer preferences.
Provide feedback to product development and marketing teams based on customer and competitor insights.
Collaboration with Other Departments:
Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure a seamless experience for customers.
Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional strategies, sales materials, and product launches.
Budget and Expense Management:
Manage the sales department’s budget, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently to achieve sales goals.
Monitor spending and ensure that sales operations are cost-effective.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
With relevant years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of managing sales teams and achieving sales targets.
Experience in the industry related to the company's products or services is preferred but not required.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
Data-driven and analytical approach to sales performance and forecasting.
Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle customer objections.
Knowledge of sales principles, techniques, and practices.
