Job Description
Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Residential Estimator in Australia.
Strong knowledge of Australian construction materials, labor costs, and suppliers.
Proficiency in estimating software such as Bluebeam, Buildsoft, CostX, or similar tools.
Understanding of Australian National Construction Code (NCC) and local council requirements.
Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Background in construction, engineering, or quantity surveying is preferred.
Preferred:
Experience in custom homes, townhouses, or multi-residential projects.
Familiarity with tendering processes and contract administration.
Previous experience liaising with Australian builders and developers.
