Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Finance and Accounting Manager with a minimum of 8 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, & Tax fields and with at least 3 years experience in a
supervisory/managerial role to join our team.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Finance, Accounting, and Tax-related functions, including Cash Management, Financial Statement Reporting, Profit Planning,
Company Taxation, and External and Internal Audits.
Job Responsibilities
1. Department Management:
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirements.
Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce monthly financial reports (actual and profit plans) for the company and headquarters on schedule, ensuring the accuracy and correctness of financial reports.
2. Financial Planning and Reporting:
Prepare annual profit planning.
Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
Ensure strict compliance with departmental and organizational objectives, adhering to established policies and processes.
3. Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement and propose innovative solutions for efficient and profitable department operations.
4. Tax Compliance:
Ensure timely and accurate filing of all relevant direct and indirect tax returns.
Represent the company for tax-related issues. 5. Cash Flow Management:
Manage the company’s cash flow effectively. 6. Audit Coordination:
Coordinate and complete annual audits.
7. Additional Duties:
Responsible for reviewing and updating the IPBR (IHI Philippines Business Rule) related to finance and accounting.
Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned.
Experience Level: Minimum 8 years
CPA/CA with a degree in Accounting or equivalent.
General Requirements:
Personnel Competency:
Leadership, self-starter, and teamwork skills. Ability to work accurately and under pressure.
Skills:
Strong leadership skills.
Familiarity with Philippines Tax Law.
Proficiency in English, both spoken and written. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
