Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Executive with at least 3 years of relevant experience in Finance and Accounting.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Finance, Accounting, and Tax-related functions, including Cash Management, Financial Statement Reporting, Profit Planning,
Company Taxation, and External and Internal Audits.
Job Responsibilities
As an Accounts Executive, under the supervision of the Accounting manager, he/she will be responsible for:
1. Accounting entries, closing
Preparation of month-end closing set, including consolidation entries, reporting package for IHI HQ consolidation, Input of accounting entries, AR, AP to Accounting Software
Monthly journals, including but not limited to prepayment, accrued sales, FA, support fee and quarter-end / fiscal year-end provision, adjustment entries
Prepare bank reconciliation, manage bank deposits and loans
Quarter-end / fiscal year-end provision and adjustment entries
Maintenance of balance sheet schedules and attending to accounting audits/inquiries by audit firms and preparation of financial statements
2. Financial Planning and Reporting:
Prepare budget reporting, forecast & variance analysis
3. Tax Compliance:
Preparation of corporate income tax and attending to inquiries by tax agents and tax authorities, as necessary
4. AP/AR Payment processing
Process payroll, staff claims, rental, and other disbursements
In charge of AR (invoice, receipt) & AP (invoice, payment & cheque) Handling/Posting petty cash
5. Audit Coordination:
Preparation of audit schedules
Attending to accounting audits/inquiries by audit firms, preparation of audited financial statements
6. Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement and propose innovative solutions for efficient and profitable department operations.
CPA/CA with a degree in Accounting or equivalent.
Experience Level: Minimum 3 years
Personnel Competency:
Self-starter, and teamwork skills.
Ability to work accurately and under pressure.
A hands-on person with initiative, confidence, and the ability to communicate effectively
Skills:
Familiarity with Philippines Tax Law.
Proficiency in English, both spoken and written. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
