Application Support Specialist (Java or Python)

Location: BGC, Taguig
Setup: Hybrid
Schedule: Nightshift

Qualifications:
*Degree in technology, software engineering or related quantitative field
*More than 3 years of experience in similar role, preferably in technology and/or financial industry
*Proficient in relational databases (SQL Server/PostgresDB)
*Experience in cloud services such as AWS (certification is a plus)
*Experience with incident and problem management
*Experience in programming languages such as Java and/or Python is a must have
*Knowledge Snowflake is a plus
*Knowledge in Business Intelligence tools (Qlik) is a plus
*Proficiency with collaboration and project tools like Jira, Confluence
*Good understanding or have gained experience on at least one common Enterprise Agile Framework e.g., Kanban, SAFe, SCRUM, etc. (certification is a plus)
*Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to see the big picture, understand how the details contribute to that, and think through the cause-and-effect relationships that can create change
*Proven ability to balance and prioritize multiple operations/projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
*Accurate, effective, and independent working style
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
*Ability to work under pressure and confidently interact with business users
*Excellent communication skills and customer centric approach
*Very good language skills in English (written/oral)
*Knowledge about private markets would be an advantage
