Compliance Specialist

Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Specialist to ensure that our organization adheres to legal, regulatory, and internal policy requirements. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring compliance risks, conducting audits, and providing training to employees.

Key Responsibilities:
- Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management
- Monitor and interpret federal, state, and industry-specific regulations to ensure organizational compliance.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to prevent legal or regulatory violations.
- Stay updated on changes in laws and compliance requirements, advising management accordingly.

Audits & Investigations
- Conduct internal audits and compliance reviews to identify potential risks or non-compliance issues.
- Investigate reported compliance violations and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare detailed reports on findings and follow up on necessary improvements.

Training & Employee Awareness
- Develop and deliver training programs on compliance policies, ethics, and best practices.
- Ensure employees understand their roles in maintaining compliance and reporting violations.

Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of compliance activities, audits, and risk assessments.
- Prepare reports for senior management, regulatory agencies, or external auditors.
- Report violations, breaches, or risks promptly and work on resolutions

Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: 1+ years in compliance, risk management, legal, or auditing roles.

Skills:
