Job Description

Job Overview:
The Automotive SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) Consulting Manager is responsible for leading and managing consulting engagements related to SAP Sales and Distribution solutions within the automotive sector. This role combines technical expertise with deep industry knowledge to guide automotive clients through the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP SD solutions. The manager will oversee a team of consultants, ensure the successful delivery of projects, and drive business development initiatives to expand the SAP SD practice in the automotive industry.
Be a part of the Intelligent Functions team, one of the key capabilities or sub-industry areas to support Platforms-driven business design and assessment such as value assessment, business case creation, business process re-engineering and so on.
Provide solutions for complex client problems across the SAP S4 HANA ERP landscape throughout the project lifecycle, providing subject matter expertise with a strong strategic awareness of the SAP market and associated technologies.
Work as a lead SAP Functional Solution Architect and support with solutions for end-to-end request for proposal requests.
Engage with clients in understanding their requirements, scoping, discovering and defining solutions, explaining business benefits and use cases and developing a roadmap to meet their goals.
Create innovative solution designs that utilize our extensive service offerings.
Support our business development activities, working with our sales teams in proposal generation, shaping the solution plan and delivery approach for SAP transformations.
Be responsible for integration with different ERP Solutions including SAP and create proof of concepts as and when required.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead SAP SD implementation projects for automotive clients, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
Design, configure, and optimize SAP SD solutions tailored to automotive industry needs.
Advise clients on best practices and drive continuous improvement in sales and distribution processes.
Manage and mentor a team of SAP SD consultants, ensuring effective project execution.
Develop business opportunities and build strong relationships with automotive clients.
Provide training and support to clients for SAP SD functionalities and post-implementation success.
Qualifications:
Looking for candidate for Manager / Consultant level with Automotive Production Planning / Quality Management Or, Automotive Procurement or, Automotive Finance or, Automotive Sales experience
Must have:
SAP Automotive Sales & Distribution
7-15 years of ERP experience in Automotive Sales working on Automotive Industry delivery engagements.
Should have experience in S/4 HANA Sales and Distribution suite, Order to Cash processes, Business Partner, Third Party, Intercompany and STO scenarios, Variant Configuration, VMS, Integration of SD with MM, FI, and other modules in SAP.
Experience in SAP Hybris/CRM would be an added advantage.
Along with -
Prior experience of working on 4-5 large scale transformation and ERP implementation delivery programs for global clients.
Must have worked as an end-to-end Solution / Functional Architect for at least 4-5 Request for Proposal (RFP) requests.
Proven success in client-facing roles for 4-5 engagements.
MBA from Tier 1 and 2 business school is preferrable.
