Job Description

The Assistant Treasury Manager is responsible for the overall planning and execution of day to day and period -end treasury activities including managing the company’s cashflow and liquidity. Review cash control design and effectiveness to ensure major risks are mitigated. Review of treasury related processes and recommend process/policy changes/improvements. Work with banking service providers to understand services beneficial to the company and negotiate the service terms.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Operations
· Facilitates daily treasury operations, provides accurate cash reporting (e.g daily cash position, tagging of cash inflows and outflows necessary for bank reconciliation)
· Assists with bank structure management and risk management activities
· Recommend investment of excess funds
· Act as liaison with the company’s business units in setting up new banking accounts, and services, and handling bank inquiries and related matters
· Prepares inter-company settlements and foreign exchange transactions
· Prepare, monitor, and analyze/optimize the company’s cash position to cover cash commitments and coordinate/optimize the ST borrowing or investment
· Works cross-functionally with the Finance team to identify financial risks, and exposures, and support appropriate risk management programs (controls, financial and adhoc reports as requested)
· Oversee check preparation/disbursement operations to ensure payments on due dates and compliance to internal controls and company policies and procedures
· Ensure that collections and disbursements are intact/deposited, and properly accounted for and recorded.

Reporting
· Assist in the preparation of annual financing plan to determine the financing/investment needs of the company
· Cash Forecast
· Daily Cash Position
· Collection and Disbursement report

PROFILE

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
2. With 5+ years of experience in management accounting and/or treasury.
3. Experience in restaurant concept preferred
4. Strong knowledge in Treasury operations and cash management
5. Strong negotiation skills and understanding of bank relationship management
