Job Description
1. Procurement & Supplier Management Preparing purchase orders (POs) and tracking approvals Communicating with suppliers to confirm orders and deliveries Maintaining supplier databases and contracts Comparing prices and negotiating better deals
2. Inventory Management Monitoring stock levels and ensuring timely restocking Coordinating with warehouse teams for stock accuracy Maintaining records of incoming and outgoing shipments Generating inventory reports for management
3. Logistics & Transportation Coordinating shipments and deliveries with freight providers Tracking shipments to ensure timely arrival Managing shipping documentation (invoices, bills of lading, etc.) Resolving delivery issues and delays
4. Data Entry & Documentation Updating supply chain records in ERP or inventory systems Organizing and maintaining procurement and logistics documents Preparing reports on supply chain performance
5. Coordination & Communication Liaising with different departments (sales, warehouse, finance) Assisting in demand planning and forecasting Supporting compliance with import/export regulations Would you like a more detailed breakdown for a specific industry?
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
Prior experience in supply chain, logistics, or administrative roles (1-3 years typically preferred).
Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) or inventory management software.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Attention to detail in handling procurement, logistics, and documentation tasks.
Basic understanding of supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory control, and logistics.
Knowledge of shipping regulations and import/export compliance (as needed).
Time management skills to meet tight deadlines effectively.
