Job Description
● Successfully communicate forecast and inventory estimations to management.
● Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts and inventory movement trends.
● Analyze and evaluate the supply plan and net dispatch requirements to satisfy customer needs mastering network complexity and taking into account the supply constraints.
● Conduct capacity planning to gain proactive visibility and analyze exceptions on supply constraint to make business decisions and mitigate the risks - conducting Scenario Planning, What if & Capacity Analysis.
● Ensure balance product availability with optimal inventory levels to drive cost reductions ensuring the right material in the right location.
Work closely with internal teams such as procurement, logistics, production, and finance to align supply chain strategies with business goals. Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments.
● Troubleshoot/problem solve all administrative/supply chain related problems to ensure adequate stock management.
● Ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) of the supply planning process are adhered to by team members, and conduct regular inspections to verify compliance.
● Ensure to follow the company's policy for restocking products by placing orders correctly and promptly, so that there's always enough stock available as needed.
● Responsible for overall team management, including hiring, goal setting and delegation of work, training and development, coaching/mentoring, and completing performance evaluations that are supported by collaboration with stakeholders.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
● Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or related field.
● Proven work experience as a Demand Planner, Supply Chain Officer or a similar role.
● Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures.
● Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge.
● Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
● Experience in FMCG/Retail is an advantage.
● Working knowledge on relational databases and ERP systems (SAP, MS-Navi, MS-Dynamics, Oracle...others).
● Outstanding knowledge of MS Office.
● Aptitude in problem-solving.
● Desire to work as a team with a result-driven and data-guided approach.
● Effective written and verbal communication skills.
● Ability to travel as needed.
● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
