Job Description
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate business needs into functional specifications and viable solutions.
Propose possible solutions and present these to internal teams and during client workshops.
Analyze business requirements, offer solutions across different business processes, and support finalizing the solutions with customer teams.
Demonstrate product and solution functionalities to clients.
Document business processes, recommend new methods, and identify automation opportunities to optimize operations.
Analyze existing client processes and suggest improvements for enhanced efficiency.
Implement best practices for Asset Management and Works Management across utilities (Electrical Generation, Transmission & Distribution, Gas Storage, Water Production & Distribution).
Work closely with cross-functional teams (procurement, finance, SCM, HR, etc.) to ensure seamless integration of products with other modules or external systems.
Draft functional Design Documents and collaborate with other teams to refine and implement solutions.
Participate in large-scale projects, define business and technological solutions, and support the design and implementation of new business processes and capabilities.
Coordinate with technical teams to deliver functional testing and integration of solutions and components.
Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent qualification)
Level: Consultant | 3 to 6 years of experience (post MBA) or 8 years of experience (without MBA)
Level: Manager | 7 to 10 years of experience (post MBA) or 10+ years of experience (without MBA)
Technical & Skill Requirements:
3+ years of experience working with Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Cloud Service (WACS) or Oracle WAM (1.9x or newer).
3+ years of consulting experience with Oracle Utilities solutions.
Experience in at least one end-to-end implementation of EAM products (WAM/WACS/Maximo/SAP).
Involvement in at least 2 EAM upgrade projects, preferably including one Oracle WAM upgrade.
Knowledge & Skills:
Strong understanding of the fundamentals of the Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF).
Familiarity with other utility products built on the OUAF platform, such as SOM, ODM, NMS, SGG, MWM, CCB, OUCSS, OUBI, is advantageous.
Solid understanding of integration processes between WAM/WACS and applications like Oracle Field Service (OFS), ERP, and GIS systems.
Proficient knowledge of Asset Management, Work Management, Inventory & Purchasing, GIS, Outage Planning, Asset Performance Management, and Asset Investment Planning.
Good grasp of utility industry best practices and workflows.
Project Management skills to effectively manage timelines, resources, and project deliverables.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex business requirements with strategic solutions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Collaborative mindset and ability to work with teams across multiple regions.
Continuous learning and growth mindset to stay abreast of new technologies, upgrades, and global industry trends.
PMP or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner certification is a plus.
Relevant certifications within the Oracle Utilities product suite are an advantage.
