Job Description
The Oracle Utilities Products Consultant is responsible for delivering expert consulting services for Oracle Utilities products and solutions. This role involves working closely with clients to implement, optimize, and support Oracle Utilities software, ensuring that these solutions meet business requirements and drive operational efficiency. The consultant will be involved in the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design to system implementation, training, and post-implementation support.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and configure Oracle Utilities products to meet client needs.
Gather requirements and design solutions tailored to business processes.
Lead testing and provide training to clients on Oracle Utilities systems.
Offer post-implementation support and system optimizations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree holder
Level: Consultant | Years of Exp: 3 to 6 years post MBA or 8 years without MBA
Level: Manager | Years of Exp: 7 to 10 years post MBA or 10 years without MBA
3+ years of experience in Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Cloud Service (WACS) Or Oracle WAM 1.9x
3+ years of Oracle Utilities consulting experience
Experience in at least one end-to-end implementation of WAM/WACS/other EAM product(Maximo/SAP)
Experience of at least 2 EAM upgrade projects – preferably one Oracle WAM Upgrade
Knowledge & Skill Requirements:
Good understanding of the fundamentals of the Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF).
Knowledge of other utility products built on OUAF platform such as SOM, ODM, NMS, SGG, MWM, CCB, OUCSS, OUBI is a plus.
In-depth Knowledge of OUAF, Database structure and technical knowledge is a plus.
Strong understanding of utilities value chain.
Good understanding of Integration of WAM / WACS with other applications like Oracle Field Service (OFS), ERP and GIS applications.
Sound knowledge on Asset Management, Work Management, Inventory & Purchasing, GIS, Outage planning, Asset Performance Management, and Asset Investment Planning.
Good understanding on Utilities Industry leading practices
Project Management skills to handle timelines, resources, and project deliverables efficiently.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to understand complex business requirements and provide effective solutions.
Excellent English language written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work with team across various geography.
A continuous learning & growth mindset to stay updated on upgrades, new technologies, and industry leading practices & global trends.
PMP or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner certificate would be an advantage.
Oracle Utilities Certifications in Oracle Utilities product suite would be an advantage
