Job Description
The Brand Manager is responsible in growing NELTEX business by Creating & Implementing a NELTEX BRAND PLAN that will strengthen preference for NELTEX BRANDS within a defined target market; supportive to NELTEX Medium to Long Term Plans.
Directly reports to the Vice-President of Sales & Marketing and is an Executive level position. Assumes an active part in the achievement of the Company's key business objectives.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
1. To Create & Lead in the implementation of the Medium to Long Term NELTEX BRAND PLAN.
• Sets the Annual Brand Strategy (Quality & Reach) for NELTEX BRANDS supportive of medium to long terms goals aligned to the NELTEX MID TERM & LONG TERM PLANS.
2. Monitors the sales performance of competitors, maintains awareness of sales trends and new product lines in the market to ensure that NELTEX maintains its competitive position in the market.
3. Develops weekly/monthly and annual targets for the department, examining growth opportunities, enabling improvements, product mix development, and taking responsibility for the department’s performance against targets.
4. Ensures the deployment of QUALIFIED Brand Professionals that have the appropriate ATTITUDES, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS to support the Brand Department towards the achievement of its goals. .
