Pollution Control Officer

Responsible for performing the role of the Pollution Control Officer of the company, with tasks like processing, coordinating and ensuring the regulatory compliance of the company with regards to environmental management. Responsible for all PCO inspections and audits, and reporting nonconformance and recommending improvements as applicable, and in supporting the programs of the Safety & Health Committee.

Key Result Areas:
•Performs the role of the Pollution Control Officer (PCO) of the company.

•Ensure compliance of the company with all necessary regulatory requirements of the government.

•Formulate, prepare and review the company’s Environmental Management Plan and Contingency Plan.

•Attend to all permitting and registration requirements under the scope of the PCO.

•Ensure proper performance, operation and maintenance of environmental management
facilities and systems of the company.

•Monitor the use, importation, and distribution of chemicals.

•Furnish necessary timely reports for different stakeholders.

•Plan and recommend quality control policies and procedures for company.

•Coordinate and execute quality assurance programs.

•Prepare and present training on PCOto other employees, as needed.

•Support HR & Admin Unit in coordinating and promoting safety and health programs.

Qualifications:
•Academic background in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry

•Preferably Trained Pollution Control Officer

•Preferably with 2 years of professional background as Pollution Control Officer and relevant
experience in environmental management

•Preferably with Safety Officer certification

•Preferably with professional background in quality assurance

Pay: Php20,000.00 - Php26,000.00 per month
