Job Title: Chief Medical Officer (CMO)
Location: BGC, Taguig City (Ground Floor, The Spa, B8, 9th Ave, Taguig, Metro Manila)

Job Description:
We are looking for a Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to lead our medical team. This role involves overseeing clinical operations, maintaining regulatory compliance, and driving medical excellence while collaborating with management to improve services.

Responsibilities:
• Help manage the healthcare organization’s budget;
• Evaluate the coordination of the medical team to ensure the success of the institution;
• Ensure that the licenses are up to date, thus preventing the prosecution or termination of the clinic services to the public;
• Evaluate and diffuse any tension that arises in the different medical units;
• Be able to attend to see patients on an as needed basis;
• Display the highest level of professionalism, integrity, and a strong work ethic, serving as a model for all clinic staff;
• Maintain and fulfill requirements of licensure, DOH, FDA and other agencies/organization and board certifications for credentialing and externally with clients and other regulatory bodies;
• Provide comprehensive, high quality medical services to patients, regardless of age, sex, gender identification, income, national origin, or language;
• Consider individuals’ cultural, psychological, social, and environmental factors in creating treatment/care plans;
• Work with the primary clinic team to provide a cohesive and proactive environment in effort to enhance patient care;
• Prescribe pharmaceuticals and other medications and treatment regimens to treat identified and documented medical conditions;
• Analyze reports, test results, medical records and examinations to diagnose condition of patients and propose treatment options;
• Order laboratory and radiology tests and refer to specialist when appropriate and in a timely manner;
• Discuss potential side effects of medication/treatment with patients and ensure that all allergy information is up-to-date before prescribing medications and treatment;
• Provide advice to patients for lifestyle and diet changes that may improve their health or help to treat the health issue they are experiencing;
• Adhere to clinic policies, procedures and objectives, ongoing quality improvement objectives and safety, environmental, and infection control standards;
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all health information privacy laws;
• Perform accurate, legible and timely chart documentation to include but not limited to Subjective, Objective, Assessment & Plan (SOAP) format; following important and necessary guidelines in the Electronic Health Records System and use only standard approved abbreviations;
• Assist in the development of Standards of Care for the medical department;
• Serve as mentor for other clinic providers, including short lectures, updates and others needed to provide the best care for patients;
• Take appropriate corrective actions to address matters pertaining to employee health and safety that have been brought to their attention; and
• Other duties assigned by Administration.

Qualifications:
• Degree in Medicine from an accredited institution
• Valid and current PRC License as a Physician
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
• Experience in healthcare management is a plus.
• Knowledge of Philippine healthcare laws & DOH regulations.
