Business Unit Head

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Licensed Electrical Engineer.
- At least five (5) years of work experience in the same field.
- Proven experience in managing operations in a technical or service-oriented environment, with a focus on meter testing, repair, or maintenance.
- In-depth knowledge of meter testing standards, calibration procedures, and safety regulations.
- Knowledgeable about the processes and procedures for obtaining various meter shop operation permits.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong business development skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects effectively.
- Familiarity with inventory management and procurement processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Resourceful and dependable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement the meter shop business plan to ensure that sales and profitability targets are met.
- Responsible for acquiring training and servicing clients for meter testing, sealing, and quality assurance (QA).
- Oversee and manage all operations within the meter shop, including testing, calibration, repair, and maintenance of meters.
- Lead, train, and supervise a team of technicians and support staff to ensure high-quality work and productivity.
- Develop and implement operational procedures and best practices to ensure the efficient functioning of the shop.
- Responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting all laboratory equipment.
- Monitor inventory levels of materials, parts, and equipment, ensuring timely procurement.
- Ensure all meter services comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Accept and assist with the delivery and sealing of Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) seals.
- Assist ERC engineers in conducting inspections and processing necessary documentation.
- Maintain and analyze operational performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Supply Chain, Research & Development, and Sales, to ensure smooth operations and timely service delivery.
- Coordinate with the manufacturing team regarding testing and QA concerns.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints related to meter services, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Attend to the company's electrical concerns.
- Prepare reports on operational performance, budgets, and inventory management for senior management.
- Implement cost-control measures and optimize resources for effective budget management.
- Attend MANCOM meetings and other required corporate events.
- Support other business ventures of the company.
- Comply with proper operating procedures, safety, and health regulations.
- Support and implement the Environmental Management System in relation to job responsibilities.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, the Employee Code of Ethics and Conduct, and Corporate Governance regulations.
- Protect intellectual property, company proprietary information, and confidential data.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities related to the job as directed by the superior.

SALARY:
Php 45,000 - Php 55,000
