Mechanical Foreman

Manages mechanical activities in construction or industrial projects. They oversee a team of mechanics, ensure safety standards are met, and manage the maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment.
Responsibilities
Supervise: Manage a team of mechanics, utility workers, and cleaners
Maintain: Ensure equipment is maintained and repaired in a timely manner
Ensure safety: Ensure safety standards are met and that the work environment is safe
Coordinate: Coordinate activities with other teams and work areas
Troubleshoot: Use diagnostic equipment to evaluate mechanical problems
Plan: Plan, schedule, and estimate work
Record: Keep records of work performed, equipment maintenance, and costs
Improve: Recommend improvements to maintenance and repair procedures
Budget: Assist with developing the annual budget
Train: Coordinate training and ensure staff are up to date on best practices
