Chemical Engineer

Duties And Responsibilities:

Conducting activities for Water Treatment Plant / Waste Water Treatment Plant / Sewage Treatment Plant (WTP / WWTP /STP) which conforms with ISO procedures such as the following:

o Conduct research and development in chemical processes related to environmental remediation and sustainability.
o Design and optimize chemical treatment systems for wastewater and other environmental applications.
o Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards in all projects.
o Develop and implement process control strategies for efficient and effective treatment.
o Analyze and interpret data to improve process efficiency and minimize environmental impact.
o Start-up, Testing and, Commissioning Activities.
o Operate and Maintain (O&M) Activities included in the contract / PO / Proposal
o Report system e.g. Monthly O&M, Service Reports, Weekly Commissioning, Log Sheets
o Conduct system audit and preparation of audit reports.
o Training (lectures & hands on) to client representatives
o Planning & scheduling of the above-stated activities
o Provide technical support to Commissioning and Operation & Maintenance to address issues / concerns for trouble-shooting & problem solving.
o Supervise Operators in different work sites for O&M projects.
o Prepare application or renewal of permit of assigned projects and facilitate submissions and follow-ups to government agency like DOH, LGU, DENR and LLDA.
o Water quality monitoring & operation monitoring to ensure compliancy to the said government standards and/or product water as per agreed contract
o Attends coordination meetings with the client representative(s) to discuss issues or concerns pertaining to the project handled and address them accordingly.
o Supervise and implement health and safety standards and practices in work sites handled.

Qualifications:
✔Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
✔Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
✔Must be willing to do fieldworks
✔Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on environmental applications.
✔Excellent communication and teamwork skills, crucial for collaborative projects.
✔Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, process simulation software, GIS).
✔Experience in water & wastewater treatment process is an advantage
✔Strong work ethic and accepts challenge.
✔Team player and can work with minimal supervision.
