Job Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator / Construction Administrator proficient in Bluebeam to join our office-based team. This role combines estimating and administrative duties to support construction projects, ensuring accuracy in cost assessments, seamless coordination, and effective project documentation. Key Responsibilities:
Use Bluebeam software to review project plans, specifications, and documentation for accurate take-offs and estimates.
Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and project managers to obtain quotes and verify project costs.
Maintain and update project budgets, timelines, and records.
Manage construction documentation, including contracts, permits, and compliance forms.
Coordinate communication between clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Support the preparation of tender submissions, bid proposals, and project presentations.
Monitor project progress and report on budget adherence and any discrepancies.
Qualifications:
Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
Experience:
At least 2-3 years of experience in estimating and construction administration.
Proficiency in Bluebeam is a must.
Skills:
Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and cost factors.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and project management tools.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cost assessments.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
Preferred: Familiarity with other construction estimating tools and software is a plus.
