Data Analyst (SAP and Financial Data Insights)

Location: Ortigas
Work Setup: Hybrid (3 days onsite/2 days wfh)

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Hands-on experience with SAP systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud) is required.
• Proven background in analyzing financial data and developing actionable insights.

Role Summary
We are looking for a Data Analyst with expertise in SAP systems and financial data analysis to join our Finance team. This role is pivotal in analyzing and managing financial data, generating actionable insights, and enhancing reporting capabilities to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical abilities, a deep understanding of financial systems, and proven experience in utilizing SAP tools to streamline data processes and drive financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis and Insights
• Extract, process, and analyze financial data using SAP systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud).
• Assist in enhancing the database and participate in a project focused on data cleanup and optimization.
• Identify trends, variances, and insights to guide management decisions.
• Build dashboards and reporting tools to visualize financial data for stakeholders.

Financial Reporting and Forecasting
• Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and monthly performance reports.
• Provide detailed variance analysis between actual results and projections.
• Assist in creating models for revenue, expense, and cash flow forecasts.

Performance Monitoring
• Monitor key financial metrics such as revenue growth, expense efficiency, and credit performance.
• Deliver timely and accurate reports for management and regulatory purposes
• Evaluate financial trends and highlight opportunities for optimization.

Process Optimization
• Leverage SAP tools to automate data workflows and enhance accuracy in reporting.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to improve data integration and system functionality.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Support
• Act as the finance data expert, collaborating with internal teams to provide data-driven insights.
• Translate complex data analysis into actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
• Participate in cross-functional projects, ensuring data alignment with business goals.
