Job Description
Identifying potential customers
SDRs find new business opportunities by identifying potential customers and generating leads. They may use referrals from current customers, attend networking events, and research online communities and forums.
Qualifying leads
SDRs determine which leads from marketing campaigns are potential sales opportunities. They may initiate contact with potential customers or respond to inquiries.
Setting up appointments
SDRs set up sales appointments and follow up with leads. They may educate and develop prospects before passing them on to the sales team.
Communicating with the sales team
SDRs communicate with other sales team members to ensure leads have a smooth buying experience. They may also collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for reaching sales targets.
Providing reports
