Job Description
Assist in the preparation and processing of purchase orders.
Maintain accurate records of all purchasing activities.
Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed.
Coordinate with various departments to understand their purchasing needs.
Review and compare supplier quotes to ensure cost-effectiveness.
Assist in the resolution of any issues related to orders or deliveries.
Prepare and maintain purchasing reports and analysis.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Support the procurement team in various administrative tasks.
Assist in vendor evaluation and selection processes.
Maintain and update supplier information in the database.
Track and report on key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices.
Participate in the development and implementation of purchasing strategies.
Requirements:
College Graduate in any 4 years course.
Proven experience as a Purchasing Assistant or in a similar role.
Familiarity with purchasing and inventory management software.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Basic understanding of supply chain procedures.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of market research and data analysis.
Customer service orientation.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
