Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Structural Engineering Intern/Fresh Graduate to join our team in SBFZ, Olongapo City. This role offers hands-on experience in key structural engineering tasks, including design, analysis, and materials selection. You will work closely with experienced engineers on various projects, applying structural engineering principles to real-world challenges. A daily allowance of Php 400.00 will be provided to support your internship experience.

Responsibilities:
• Assist in the design and analysis of structural systems and components, supporting senior engineers to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Conduct research to identify new materials, technologies, and methodologies that could enhance project outcomes.
• Collaborate with team members on structural design projects, sharing ideas and fostering a collaborative atmosphere.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including reports and drawings, that accurately reflect design processes and results.
• Participate in testing and evaluation of prototypes and existing structures, assisting in test plan development and data collection.
• Use software tools for modeling and simulation of structural designs, creating 3D models and running simulations to analyze performance.
• Support project management tasks by tracking progress, timelines, and deliverables, providing updates to project leads.
• Conduct experiments to analyze system performance, ensuring rigorous data collection and analysis.
• Attend project meetings, contributing to discussions on design solutions and collaborating with colleagues to develop effective solutions.
• Follow safety protocols and best practices in all engineering activities, promoting a culture of safety within the team.

Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proficient in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral.
• Willing to work on-site in SBFZ, Olongapo City.
