Senior Electrical Engineer

The Senior Electrical Engineer will support the team in overseeing all electrical work activities at the shipyard. You will lead a team in preparing timely assessment reports based on onsite evaluations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design electrical systems for new construction, renovations, and shipyard improvements.
• Adapt traditional methods to develop design calculations, layouts, and specifications that align with project standards.
• Conduct construction inspections, quality control, and technical submittal reviews beyond construction manager expertise.
• Develop cost estimates, time schedules, and technical specifications, including construction methodologies.
• Analyze preliminary and final designs for technical efficiency and compliance.
• Perform detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications.
• Inspect installations and monitor operations to ensure adherence to design and safety standards.
• Utilize engineering software (AutoCAD, load analysis) for assigned engineering tasks.
• Collaborate with contract management and planning on scope, programming, and scheduling.
• Stay updated on the latest innovations in electrical engineering and perform additional duties as necessary.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; licensed Electrical Engineer required.
• Minimum of 8 years of design and field experience in manufacturing, power plants, or shipyards.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a creative approach to new technologies.
• Possess a Philippine Passport and Driver’s License; experience in shipyard or manufacturing facilities is a plus.
